This provides a good reinforcement to practical activity on circuits and could lead to some activity linked to the English Design and Technology curriculum. Children will make decisions about how to break and complete electrical circuits.
Get the children to draw the circuit so that they can predict what will occur when the change is applied.
Make sure that they read the notice on the alarm box.
